The Zavalla Food Pantry serves more than 2,000 people each year with boxes full of nutritious food, mostly sourced from the East Texas Food Bank, but also from local donations. The Brookshire Brothers Charitable Foundation has supported the Zavalla Food Pantry for years by providing them gift cards to pick up necessary items from the Zavalla Brookshire Brothers store just a couple of miles down the road.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Deep East Texas is the largest youth-serving organization in their region, helping to improve academic standards for children, providing daily meals, supporting healthy lifestyles, and addressing character traits like responsibility, honesty, and integrity. Brookshire Brothers officially opened the doors to their newest grocery store—the first of its kind in Travis County—in the sprawling hills of Lago Vista, Texas on May 3, 2023. The company celebrated its Grand Opening alongside community members with free samples, giveaways, and a ribbon cutting ceremony with the North Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce.

The Coalition began their annual Project Sticker Shock campaign at Brookshire Brothers' Lufkin Gaslight location on March 7, 2023. Drug-Free All-Star seniors from Angelina County high schools placed stickers on alcoholic products to raise awareness about the risk of underage drinking and the consequences of providing alcohol to minors.
